Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Digital Ave LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Astrolo", "we", "us"). They apply to everything we operate: the astrolo.io website and the Astrolo mobile apps for iOS and Android (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Entertainment Purposes Only

DISCLAIMER: The content, reports, and services provided by Astrolo, including but not limited to astrological charts, horoscopes, readings, and conversations with Astrid, our AI guide, are for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

Our services are not intended to be considered factual, scientific, or predictive of future events. They are not a substitute for professional advice — medical, psychological, legal, or financial — and you should not rely on them to make significant life decisions. Astrid's responses and our written readings are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or content that does not apply to your situation.

2. Who Can Use Astrolo

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's consent, and purchases must be made by an adult. By using the Service you confirm the birth information and other details you provide are accurate.

3. Your Account

Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us; deletion becomes permanent after a 14-day restore window, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Astrolo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered in monthly and yearly plans. It renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Where you are billed: purchases made in the iOS app are billed by Apple through your App Store account; purchases in the Android app are billed by Google through Google Play; purchases on astrolo.io are processed by Stripe.
  • Cancelling: cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple ID settings, Google Play subscriptions in the Play Store, and web subscriptions from your account page or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
  • Free trials: where offered, a trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial length and pricing are shown before you subscribe.
  • Refunds: purchases made through Apple or Google are subject to their refund policies and must be requested from them. For web purchases, contact us at support@astrolo.io.
  • Price changes: if a price changes, we will give you advance notice and the change takes effect at your next renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harm others;
  • attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content or data from the Service;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content;
  • abuse Astrid or our systems, including attempts to generate harmful content or circumvent usage limits and safety measures.

6. Your Content and Our Content

Content you create in Astrolo — journal entries, check-ins, chat messages, birth details — belongs to you. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it to operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The Service itself — including our software, design, card artwork, and the readings and reports we generate — is owned by Digital Ave LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants personal, non-commercial use of generated readings and reports. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

7. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your use of the app. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms, have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and are not responsible for the Service or its content. You agree to comply with the applicable store's usage rules, and you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the iOS app and may enforce them against you.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Ave LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or where required to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 8, 9, and 11) do so.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@astrolo.io and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
